Shadowing variety shows > textbooks (for me at least)

I spent months with grammar books and could barely order a coffee. Then I started shadowing short clips — 10 to 15 seconds, repeat until my mouth stops fighting me. Real speed, real intonation, real reactions like 진짜?, 대박, 아 맞다. My listening improved way faster. Textbooks are still useful for grammar, but speaking-wise this changed everything for me.
