Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 June 2026
DAMSORA uses cookies and similar technologies to provide and improve our service. This policy explains what cookies we use, why, and how you can manage them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help us keep you logged in and remember your preferences.
Cookies we use
Essential Cookies (no consent required)
Required for core functionality. Without these, you cannot log in or use key features.
| Cookie | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase login session | Up to 400 days if auto-login enabled, otherwise until browser closes |
| damsora_session_active | Remembers your auto-login preference (whether to log out on browser close) | 400 days if auto-login enabled, otherwise until browser closes |
| damsora_cookie_consent | Stores your cookie preferences (saved in localStorage, not a cookie) | 30 days |
Analytics Cookies (consent required)
Used to understand how our service is used. All data is anonymised. You can decline without affecting service access.
| Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Page views and anonymised usage statistics | Up to 2 years |
Marketing / Advertising Cookies (not yet in use)
We do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies. If we introduce them in the future (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads), we will update this policy in advance and collect separate consent.
Managing your preferences
A cookie consent banner is shown on your first visit. You can choose:
- Accept All — essential + analytics cookies
- Essential Only — essential cookies only
- Settings — choose by category
You can update your preferences at any time in My Page → Privacy Settings.
Opting out of behavioural tracking
You can refuse or block behavioural tracking (cookies and advertising identifiers) in several ways. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent login and other core features.
1) Browser cookie settings
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and site data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
2) Block all third-party cookies
In your browser's cookie settings, enabling "Block third-party cookies" will block advertising and tracker cookies in bulk. Safari and Firefox enable this by default; Chrome and Edge require manual activation.
3) Use private / incognito mode
Browsing in Incognito (Chrome/Edge) or Private Browsing (Safari/Firefox) automatically deletes cookies at the end of the session.
4) Reset or disable mobile advertising identifiers (ADID / IDFA)
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track". To reset Apple's personalised ads, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off "Personalised Ads".
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → tap "Delete advertising ID" or turn off "Opt out of Ads Personalisation".
5) Opt out of Google Analytics
To block Google Analytics data collection across all sites, install the Google-provided opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our cookie usage changes or to reflect regulatory requirements. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email.
